  I'm upset to see what this place has become. There has been improvements in the layout but the staff and the way they treat the animals is something I do not agree with. There seems to be minimal staff as I only saw two employees at my last visit the entire duration. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the store though was the smell. I understand the smells animals produce but, out of all the times I've been here this was by far the worse. The smell of ammonia was almost sickening. Please Petland don't let it get to the 'eye burn' ammonia. Staff seemed far more concerned about playing with the animals than taking care of them. They wouldn't tell me where or how they got their animals either. Concerning but, not the worst. The animals I think need the most help is the birds, they are agressive and overcrowded in some cases. Many seem sick as they are unresponsive to even being knocked over by another bird in the enclosure. Also ive also felt this way since ive first visited and that is putting hermit crabs in decorated shells forcefully is a horrible thing.
